Sorry for all the questions but...

 

Did you find it easy to get on with, I know things take time to get used to but just want the info before making my mind up.

 

You will be fine, perhaps i'd suggest a knot like a knute and not a VT to start with as its less precise to set-up and will not twist your rope up like a VT can.

 

Your climbing will alter in a positive way over time so just go for it.

where is cheapest place to purchase all the parts?

i am in the process of switching to a hitch climber system,i have gone from climbing on 2 ropes and now use 1 and a wire core flip all the time

i have got the 2 petzl 0 biners at the moment,getting the eye to eye and pulley after crimbo..

if you want the complete set up take alook at this on the honey brothers website [£70ish plus vat]
