Gutted for you, they will go to extraordinary lenghts to steal stuff, crossing fields, ditchs, rivers, over walls. Not to long ago I was told of a quad bike which had been winched out through the roof of a large building. Unfortunately it seems this type of crime is very well organised. Hope you get your gear back.

I know what you ment spud.

all the above are right, I would go over the area with a tooth comb, we had a small compressor taken once the bastards...... for want of a better word.

they threw it over a 9 foot fence and were probably so tired after that they just hide it in a ditch, obviously not used to hard work. we found it before they came back for it, no one was ever caught police didnt really want to know as in the past they prove to be no help and seems the law is on the wrong side. (see other posts re diesel theft)

Hope you get some luck with this, I would like to say happy new year but...............
