Any Snowboarders out there?

 

Just a quick thread to show that the United Kingdom is getting somewhere on the world snowboard freestyle scene.

 

Feel free to add any other vids or links to this thread, but it will probably die a death ...

That kid Billy Morgan was in Morzine a couple of seasons ago and people couldn't believe how good he was for only his second season. He is an ex gymnast so probably better than most at kinesiology.

 

FTR he was awesome when I was watching him ride that season, and by the looks of it he is only getting better!

 

One of my favourite film making companies is Absinthe Films - European based and trying to push the boundaries of both riding and filming. Here is the trailer for the latest seasons release - Twel2ve.

There was a snowsports video on youtube, specifically snowboarders, it was a while ago when I watched it and it was only the preview/trailer for a longer film but I can't remember what it was called as it was a few months ago, I'll see if I can find the link...

 

The camera work was awesome, complimented by the skills of the riders:thumbup:

You forget just how much it actually hurts to bail in a park until you do it again....!

 

I so need to get away again, my kids have scuppered it for the last couple of years, it's not an easy holiday to do on the cheap when you have little ones!
