i have a brand new little wenlock... i find it doesnt stay in all night either, even with the vents nearly completely shut. but i am burning mostly ash and cedar so it goes fairly quick.

i liked the look of the much wenlock but it was too big for my fire place :(

a brand new one should stay in for days!!my old morso stays in on a loaf of stale bread

A shovel full of coal and it will keep in beautiful. The downside is that you have to buy coal.

HI mate no coal here theres no need if you have a good stove our old hunter that was two small for the room was no good for us we now have 16kw euro heat with new liner it will stay in for day it a very good stove but you need a good base in the stove for it two stay and look at the door seal but our old hunter would not stay as it did not have a liner all the best jon stay warm
