Just got tickets for Springsteen at The Stadium of Light next June.

 

I'm chuffed because I missed seeing him at St. James' Park in 1985 on the 'Born in the USA' tour because I had two 'O' levels next day.

 

Any other fans out there?

The river was a good song, most of the others are a bit gay. Went and seen him in glasgow(free ticket) the gig was quite poor:thumbdown:

 

The volume was low and he played about 3 hours it was like a week in the jail.

He did mention that gig, said it was a tough one as most of the audience didn't understand some of the bigger words he uses in his songs, and it was hard to hear his set above the sounds of fighting and vomiting.

In some ways I'm gutted it's not at the Toon, but I'm also pleased not to be humiliated into buying tickets with 'Springsteen at the Sports Direct Arena' on them!

The only fan from the toon who is excited about going to see the Stadium of Light when they are not even playing the geordies.
