Nearly always use a ladder for access into the crown, only because it's more professional than using spikes.:sneaky2::001_tongue:

Hardly ever use them to work off, only really when it can't be done from climbing or when its alot quicker.

I used to use ladders for access in the uk,but when i moved to Oz i stopped, i found that i became reliant on the ladders and didn't think of other access options, now i never use them for access and only tend to use ladders if the tree; hedge, job, requires it and cannot be climbed to get a desirable professional finish.

I would much rather carry my throwline and pantin to the tree than carry the sets of ladders does that count as being lazy :confused1:

She may get ladders in her stockings, but not the suspenders that hold them up.

Dam it. I messed the joke up. Mrs........?

Just about! Depending on how much wood chip I bring into the house after work.
