Homemade tool

After years of using sticks or a combi spanner to probe trees and track roots I got round to making a tool up.

I doubt I need to explain what I have done to the stop cock key I bought this morning for £4, but what probably wont show up are the marks at 1 inch intervals and the sharpened edge on the T handle for bark marking :001_smile:

Starting to fine tune the business and one of the things that has bugged me over the years has been hunting round the cab for a screw driver or combi spanner to probe a rot pocket or trace the size of the burr when pricing stump jobs,I also welded a hammer head to the other end of the T handle for sounding butts and tacking tree ident numbers on without having to carry steps around :001_cool:
