I sympathise with you butler, 31 is such a difficult age. You're no longer 'one of the lads' that you still strive to be & don't have the respect of your elders 'cause you're still a youngster. Press on & the years will quickly pass to your 40th. Then you can have fun, be the person you want to be without any pressures from other age groups.

I'm nearly 60; reasonably fit & healthy though not as strong as I was, happy & fairly successful. I can comfortably mix with any generation.

Enjoy the present. Do not regret the past. Look forward to the future with relish.

I'm 31 I don’t feel any where near old, so , I don’t have a gut, I don’t even want a range rover, unless I can sell it for cash :), I have a bicycle, I did buy a pair of skinny jeans but there a size bigger than my usual. so not too weird, great for riding the bicycle, cause they dont end up in the chain.

the only person I compete with is me, you need to up your fitness. if you want more out of your body, loose the extra baggage that will help you out, I went to a sports physio who gave me a bunch of exercises to do, which sorted out a number of weaknesses I had especially in my left knee.

Best thing I’ve done is chilled out. enjoy what you do! it is the best job I’ve ever done.
