Never got on well with that setup myself, I've tried it when retrieving the same as you did. I've always found it creates far too much friction. Were you using a cambium saver with it?

 

Just straight over a limb, i am on a very thin line tho, thinking of making a bridge between the Rw an LJ to see if that can speed the ascents up a bit, Still on the hunt for a nice large open tree. I know theres the Oak in Earlham park used by the ISA TCC in 2000 for the work climb, maybe a stealth climb during a weekend??

Maybe try Albere's pipe sleeve thing, on a long tether? I've got some 3/4" water pipe, real stiff but smooth finish, I reckon it could be good

Yeah i took it off after signing off my review with it, now testing without. Im sure some will take it off so might as well give it a blast. My line is a SRT static-dynamic line so maybe thats why it worked well on mine?? :confused1:

Thats what i was thinking, might use some pluming plastic pipe too. We will sort a date, i'll try to have a ride over on the weekend to Earlham to see what the trees like.

Still havent found my Rw anyone have an exact date for the Zk2

The word on the street is a couple of months. I personally havent heard anything.
