i like that speedline idea, ive only used the 2 pulleys 1 being pre tensioned line and other being control line, that is so simple for small stuff

thats the way i do speedlines. its way too complicated the other way pre-tensioning the line etc all you need is a groundie with some muscles and if he's not enough then you get 2:001_rolleyes:

Its also good because the groundie can pull in the branches as you cut them so you get everything to go where you want it.

Nice video. Had to watch it twice. First time all I could see was the little nick in the rope and I was trying to see if you had a stopper knot on the split tail!!

Great vid - its the way I was taught speedlining but hardly anyone else seems to do it. Perfect for the application and keeps everything where it should be.

love the video! i used this method over a bungalow the other day on the outer reaches of a massive reduction. very smooth! the groundie thought it was the bees knees!

 

how did you get the gear back each time? if doing loads i set up a line the groundy can haul stuff back up to me on.
