Badbury Rings

I went out with my dad and the dogs today to one of the many local Iron Age hillforts. It has a few well known local landmarks right next to it. The two most famous being Beechy Avenue (B3092) which used to be the drive to Kingston Lacy House and the WW2 airfield at Windy Corner, Hogstock.

Despite the rain and the mild weather there was a poor show of fungi. I got a few shots of what was about but next time i shall go into the ancient oak woodland that is just off the site. I shall have a stab at IDing the fungi.
