1. what is your most sucessful method of advertisement to expand your client base. 2. what have you found to be unsucessful?

If your clients are happy they will network with other of the same mind and you will have plenty of work that way. What I have found unsuccessful is advertising via print media for example mag's and newspaper. ROI is usually very low. If you can diversify your services rendered for what the public is shopping for as well surely helps.

New ways of advertising

Facebook & Twitter dose not really bring work in bust dose Give a good new age platform of showing off your work.

 

One way that dose stand out is a Local Guy near to me has hired a small Billboard (Where you see Vodafone adverts on the side of walls ETC). Not bad for £60 a week his call load as doubled as well over the last 2weeks.

reputation, manners, and a good telephone manner! i know cos my clients told me so!

 

seriously, one clients father told me I got the job on the basis of my telephone manner!

 

the simplest things count for a great deal, you just dont realise till you actualy get tolod or ask.

 

recomendation is the best advertising, always has been.

hi i would say all of the above and a good website, this is the best way i have found to back up everything that has been mentioned by the other members, show some photos and explain a bit about what you do and how you do it, the customers will like your work, call you then the good phone manner comes in to play and so on
