Unidentifiable Efco saw

I have been given a Efco saw to look at by a friend of my gran. The problem I've got is there's no model number on the thing or serial number i can see,but need parts for it as it has a blown engine so no compression. first thing was to strip off the exhaust and look at the piston which is scored with rings welded to it. Question is how the hell can i get the parts if viable to so with no visible numbers?? and who to get them off. the only numbers i have is off the engine which is 40 then a 2 and at the bottom is R2B on the inlet side. The engine is of clam shell type and the saw runs a 15/16" .325 guide bar. Any help with this will be handy,or shall i chuck it in the scrap bin:laugh1:
