AKA shin splints.

Due to the state of my spine I am unable to run nowadays, however I found myself trying to run after olly on his BMX on Sunday evening. I am now suffering shin splints like I havent had for years. I had forgotten how painful this condition can be. I only ran about 200 yards (my back went into spasm forcing me to stop) but i was wearing crap shoes and hadnt run for a LONG time.

I've had tennis elbow the last 3 months if that makes you feel better Tom!

Finally seems to be going away with twice a week physio....

Never had shin splints - but sounds nasty :sneaky2: Not sure what the remedy is.

Elbows here too Rob.

After 4 years of recurring tennis and golfers (on the inside) elbow I think i have finally overcome it with as you say, lots of physio. You been having ultra sound or laser treatment or owt Rob?

No just the good ol get in there and I'm going to hurt you boy sort of physio!! Ho Ho!

But it now seems to be paying off - my fault as I never tackle it when it starts to reappear again and let it get so it disrupts work then I do something about it :blushing:

Oh well i was even more stupid when it came to Tennis Elbow. i was so busy (back when i did a load of stonework this was) that i just used to load up on painkillers and caried on...until one day i found i couldnt make a fist with my right hand!!!!! I was then forced to pretty much do nothing for about 2 months, and had endless physio too. You live and learn eh?
