Hi I have just bought a 130 double cab tipper as it will be replacing the 110 tipper I currently use. Its got a ali tipper already and I am looking for some ideas for a lightweight chip box.

 

I have a few ideas but am wondering what other people have used. Ideas and pictures apreciated

We have ali sides, the original lower side panels still fold down, and we have a full length tool box along the side.

I would be going for the above, has to be the smartest one I have seen. :thumbup:

Those king of rear arches can be had from a trailer place. We buy hundreds every year to fit to chippers and they comer in different styles and sizes.

I built this one myself.

The bottom half is from an ali dropside sherpa, the top half was commercial vehicle sides that i adapted. The top is going to be slightly redesigned to have a fully enclosable roof at some point.
