Bagging issues

Firstly, thanks to everyone who commented on my last thread, some really helpful advice.

Kindling sales are taking off, slowly but surely, and producing bigger quantities has helped me identify the bottle-neck in my system....Bagging!

at the moment I pull a net over a square plastic tube, fill the tube with kindling (in the right orientation) and then pull the tube out, leaving the kindling behind.

anyone got any ideas how I could do this quicker?

I dont think there is a better way, its what we are all doing in one way or another. I have a log bagging tray that is great for logs and kindling, but its the same principle as your tube. I do also use a rectangular plastic tube from the inside of a rubbish bin for bagging 10inch logs which is exactly how your doing it.

All i can suggest is that you raise the kindling off the gound, a large sloping table type thing, so the kindling feeds to you by gravity as you are putting it in nets. basically If you can make yourself more comfortable working and have the product right where you need it then this should increase your productivity.

why doesn't every one time themselves doing it in each way then there can be an arbtalk approved way of doing it

i know i can make a net bag of logs in 3 minutes average over a day including stacking them on a pallet and strapping them up

and can do more if filling using the conveyour from the procesor

i can make about three small kindling bags a minute out of a kindlet machine depending on how its being operated
