Chipper funk

anyone know of a worthy product to soak your chipper with prior to jet washing to get rid of the black chipper funk i.e from the conifer family.

 

my new chipper needs a bath

Traffic film remover sometimes works, places like arco will stock it.

as above TFR works treat , also try using a steam cleaner

tfr is great stuff, i find a really good pressure wash first, spray on and leave to soak in for 5 mins then wash off hardly ever fails.

Years ago I used TFR on a Radiant Red coloured GreenMech that I owned - sprayed it on an then went to make a 'phone call. Came out to find that it had eaten into the powder coat and turned it orange!

i used to use a yellow spray called (elbow grease) along with a soft brush..

I would have said a steam cleaner too. Not tried TFR, but may well do now!

Steam cleaner did 80% of funk but still 20% of the tough stuff left
