nice example of a scots pine, y did it have to come down?

 

Bank has started eroding, customer was afraid it would fall on the house, and as usual...light! The customer wanted to plant shrubs and a few more trees to stop erosion. Yes it was a fine specimen esp. with the entangeled crown. Didnt think it was necessary to keep since they had another two bigger pines further away (cant be seen in pictures.) to the left of this tree situated as entrance trees with no target...
