To answer your question, Brendon. Yes.

I've signed up for a cheap yellow page ad, 120/month.

I'm advertising on Craig's List for free and a local Petaluma community WebPage also.

I haven't been getting the calls though.

I'm in a dry spell.

I still work full time at the Presidio.

I'm contract climbing everyother Friday that I have off.

I do my side jobs on Saturday and sometimes Sunday.

I'm just trying to survive financially right now.

Barely getting by as it is.

Times be tough, but my chin's still up.

I remember doing that, theres only one way and thats jump in the deep end.Without crazy debt levels.

Hey Deva, happens to everyone, but the cream always rises to the top, so hang in there.

Weather looked rough on that second pine!

That’s the first time I’ve seen the GRCS man-lift technique, heard about it though.

Right after a big lunch is when I’d be most appreciative. It would be nice to hear a little more about this set-up.

Great vid.

Yes Tockmal, It's an Echo of all things.

We tried forward for faster ascent but the drill got stuck in Boggingtown.

So in Reverse you have a better gear ratio.

Basically set your False crotch/Friction Saver.

Then tie a eye and eye hitch, knut, VT, or whatever.

Then take about 4 wraps on the tail of the climbers

line and gas it, stop when they say stop.

I footlocked that tree for one hanger and was a little

spent then I got to thinking............................

Saves your strength for the work. i.e. MORE PRODUCTION.

  • 4 weeks later...

So here's the latest, Rigged everything.

Used the hobbs on the rigging spar and the GRCS

on the tree itself.

Pretty mellow video, something to gander at.

To bad we didn't get any of the wood filmed.

Lots of false crotching, snapped the rope twice

on some lower stuff.

Smiles :)

Deva
