When we bought the new bandit chipper the bandit dealers are also the dealers for these things. They tried to tell me how good they were but once I pointed out the size of stuff we could cut with the MS200 and the sort of work it would see, along with the hassles of having the battery backpack along with all your climbing gear, they realised the issues in trying to sell it to arborists. They'd be fine for orchard work off ladders etc or for large gardens but not for an arb outfit or medium heavy duty use.

Hi

It is a climbing saw and will last a hole day on a charge, they do a climbing battery for it Pellenc Ultra Lithium Poly 5 500Wh battery pack (with harness) | F R Jones and Son very thin and light. It's not for everyone and is expensive, but no service cost or fuel cost I have got a chart which I'm going to put up on the site soon it shows that after 2 years it's paid for itself and then will only cost 8p a day to charge.

It is aimed at the golf course market and hospitals ect... where noise is an issue.
