hi there im thinkin gof buying a newrope any addvice, which 1 should i go for i mean ive herd the samson taccyon rope is brilliant which rope workks beta on a pully system

Tachyon is made by New England Ropes

 

Last fall I got one in lime green and the other orange. Everyone who has climbed on the rope likes it a lot.

 

Tachyon is about 20% lighter than another rope of the same diameter and will pack more in a rope bag too.

 

The splice is nice a clean.

I dont like it...too stretchy and the diameter too small for my butter fingers..i liked the new england fly a lot untill i broke some fingers around this time last year and found 11mm lines hard to grip....but then i think i have a strange tastes when it comes to ropes...but im due a new one soon so i might give it another go or get some more fly..

Where did you get the green tachyon from, got a 5metre piece for lanyard. love it, diameter looks thinner than what they say.

Well as far as I’m concerned. Way carry a 13mm rope round a tree when you can carry a lighter 11m rope round that dose the same job. Any thing to make the job easier..
