Any chance of a picture of the plastic containers that you have adapted?

sorry i dont, im up at college in scotland at the moment and wont be home for a while

 

I thought about doing that but thought they would fall over. i suppose you leave a bit of meat round the top.

yeah just cut the hole in the top about 4inchs from the sides i think thats about the size we did, it was only guess work with the chainsaw.

 

Did you screw them down onto a pallet?

no we never, just sat on the ground where we filled it up

I can get my hands on IBC cages if anyone is after any in north Lancashire. Buyer to arrange transport unless local. Can probably sort up to an artic load at a time.

Getting IBC cages is not a problem. Getting them at a reasonable price is the difficult task. What sort of prices are people paying as I could do with another 200 and my FOC supply is slowing down maybe due to the price of scrap going up.

What would you call a reasonable price just out of interest? I can get hold of plenty - but it's a new thing for the guy I'm dealing with, so I could do with knowing what people are paying, and then hopefully I'll be able to do a better deal for them.

I have found some one trippers tonight but they have had wood glue in them. 10 or 20 at a time should be ok what sort of money are they worth once I have got 20 for the yard may be able to spare some.

HI all the ones i had was ibc weight in at 75kgs each so scrap at £200 plus 13/14 to a ton thats £15 each for scrap there very good for logs thanks jon :thumbup:
