There was a sole soldier in the PD Arb mang day on tuesday, in the woodlands section, the examiner only spotted it that day, and said hats off to anyone that spotted.

I was gutted at that point as i took position for my writing up literally under neath it, know what it looks like, but because it was the R in DAFOR dur didnt mention it.

Westonbirt arboretum, take its collection a a good excuse to get down and see maple drive

i've got some leaves for you rob, had to freeclimb to get some good ones from the top (between you and me i wasn't even wearing a helmet with chinstrap!) then consigned them to the cab of the landy so fingers crossed they ....ok they havn't a chance of surviving till sunday haha, but you can look for them if you sign a disclaimer saying you went in there at your own peril. many apologies, Ed.

haha, no worries ed, bring them anyway on sunday

you could even put them in a vase like a bunch of flowers, that might work??

or pretend you need to freeclimb on saturday aswell, you could use the excuse about researching health and safety in regards to lid/no lid:biggrin:

Going to try haigh hall on saturday also, as a back up:thumbup:

In the walled garden section if i remember rightly. If you go through the courtyard where the cafes ect are, turn left after the playground and walk until you reach the entrance to the walled garden. I THINK they're there on the right as you walk in. They're definately around that area anyway

Mission success, not quite in the walled garden as that was closed sure to excessive rain (health and safety, dont get me started), but it was near enough there.

So, I now have some S. torminalis leaves for my collection:thumbup:

Thanks everyone

And Ed, still being the ones you've got tomorrow, if they're ok:biggrin:
