All the non x-torq versions (362, 365 and special) will accept the 372 cylinder and piston. There is also the option of fitting the 375k cylinder (or 372 big bore) for more power. The 2010 version is x-torq btw, as it was replaced in 2008.

Just to add to the confusion - my ( bought new in 2010 ) 365 is a "special " not an "X-torq"

The Xtorq has a decomp sticking through the top cover, the earlier model has it sticking out of the clutch side of the cylinder as per most of the 3 series Huskies!

 

One easy way of telling!

Yeh, I've got an x-torq 365 but it's not as good as the non x-torq 372 I have.

 

Re potting an older 365 maybe cheaper than buying an older 372 though👍

 

 

 

Just so doesn't get any more confusing, what's the difference between standard and special 365 then?😜

I've just put a 372 pot on a 365 special; obviously works fine. Standard 365/special has a Zama carb I think which you may or may not want to switch for a Walbro HD-12.

 

I think the non-Special 365 has a different intake boot/port (square vs round) that would need replacing to fit a 372 cylinder. Unless you can get a 372 cylinder with a square intake port to fit the original boot.

The 365 special has the chain tension screw on the clutch cover and newer tank caps.

 

Both are 65.1cc,3.4Kw and 6.0Kg
