It's fixed.

The carb kit had the big nipple. I replaced this but it just wasn't right. So looked at to the other side of the carb.

The one in the bottom was wrong. It has the two holes in it with flaps, but the flaps where missing, so replaced with a flapped one. Saw is running like stink.

It has a sugi hara bar on it. Not sure I like those. The clutch did get hot again, in fact I spat on the clutch and it sizzled. So used another Oregon bar and it was fine. Not sure if it's the bar at fault or the chain. But it got very hot.

So it looks like the carb kit was wrong. But I'm not saying it's Barrie's fault. Somewhere between Barrie, dan and me some parts in the kits where used that weren't meant to. I just used what was there in the kit.

So I reckon it's dans fault for using the wrong bits. :001_tt2::lol::lol::lol:

Glad its sorted Rich. There are often more diaphragms in a kit than are needed, as they cover different applications.

The 'flaps' are actually the inlet and outlet valves of the fuel pump.

That's the ones. They where not on the one that was in there. Also not one in the kit in had so had to use one off another kit.
