Well despite things a productive morning.

 

Ms260 done and running nice. No apparent reason for the seize, just down to bad fuel mix I reckon.

 

Ms200t done, taking a long time to get going, bogging down when cold. Clean the carb, nothing showed up. The high was turned past the 3/4 mark. So re tuned and running good again.

 

And then the husky 435, what a pile of poo that saw is, the oiler is crap, the clutch system is crap. The chain tensioner is crap, and the bar adjuster is also crap.

Oh and the mod on the 660 worked a treat. Chain brake works as it should:thumbup:

Picked up an ms200 t today, and it's got the sort of fault I really hate. Will run rough now and again. Be a pig to go and die out on tick over.

 

But as always will try and find the fault.

 

After that it's a bit of a tweak required by owner. So this will be an on my own time at home job.

 

It did react to adjustment on the low high screw. The chain also jumps a bit but the clutch springs are worn a bit so will replace them.

Still waiting on the bits for my little blower so I thought a would try the new bits for my old saw on for size! 8t sprocket 13" bar and I got a archer chain, but not liking it, it dosent look right where it goes round the nose sprocket...it might be correct,

395XP, the plg had blown out and had been then it stopped again.

 

Found that the thread had been ripped out and I now need to put an insert in, more pics to follow tomorrow!

i was asked by a friend to look at his husqavarna 173 chainsaw dull chain chain bar had burrs on it etc so dressed the bar up give the chain a rub with a file then noticed the brake band bust and clutch drum bearing buggered wobbly drum all done now & well pleased as i have never done a husqavarna chain brake all went boing as i unscrewed the bits off it what a job working out how to put it back the right way lol i bet i can build clocks now too

h,mm or was it 137 ????????? litttle diddy saw my minds going lol anyway it was a little husky well it was orange lol now then where did i leave my marbles hmmm
