The place we stayed in for Saltex had a dead Chestnut come over in the high wind. When we got back the chap in charge told me that he had two old gimmers to cut it up and push aside and that anyone was welcome to it FOC.

 

He also told me that there was a shortage of "people who could use a chainsaw locally"!

 

To be honest, there is some works required at the place with at least one other chestnut awaiting "conversion" and I'm sure further work could be had out of the job.
