You have to sell alot of wood to make £12,000 back. Anyone got a used hakki x37 for about 4k . I think Barnsley Bob was selling his Steve

should pay for its self in about two years yes the idea is to sell a lot of logs

Yes I did not mean to knock it £35,000 is cheap for a processor if you do enough cord but I would imagine steve gets alot of chunky stuff like us.

cheers guys. i like the look of billys. Big rings are easy and i have 2 vertical splitters which deals with that stuff great, its the small light long stuff that drives me nuts.

If its mainly the smaller stuff you want to make light work of, what about one of these lads - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZq9OLLA0tI]Bilke pilkekone firewood processor klapikone - YouTube[/ame]

I saw one in action at a show during the summer, and was keen to see what the end product was like. I had heard reports of splintered kindling mish mash

but it was all pretty good clean firewood, no saw dust waste, no chain or blade sharpening and a very fast, efficient process.

M large quoted me about 6k new for one. If firewood was anything more then a hobby for me I'd have one for sure.
