£15 to steep to enter what is basically a big market!! SED & Hillhead are free to pre registerd visitors why does APF fleece the punter and exhibiter?

I think two shorter demo circuits would be better with detailed maps at start of each telling whats on each makes it easier to pick and choose what people see.

More drinks stalls about.

I don't think there was Andy. I'm fairly sure on the site cabins on the way in it said £15 per person full stop.

What got me and the missus, is that on Saturday afternoon there were quite a few mountain bikers who seemed to be totally unaware / unrelated to the show cycling down the bridalway through the event. I wish I had known / thought about this before and invested in a local map of the area and saved myself a few bob !

Enjoyed the day though and my wife did too especially the demo area. Thought it was a good mix of kit bearing in mind how diverse the forestry / arb industry is.

If it's any consolation exhibitors had to pay for tickets as well !

Now that is poor,so your paying ££££ for a stand to bring peeps to the show then you have to pay to get in aswell! A bit out of order I think.

I thought it was a good show, would have prefered the chainsaw carving to have been a bit closer to the pole climbing/events part, and the food was a bit dire.

Didnt really like the demo area too spread out and not much demoing going on.

Did anyone notice if there was a concessionary rate for students OAPs etc?

I'm an Arb student and no matter how much I asked at the gate they wouldn't give me a reduced fee which I think was abit unfair. However I bought a load of kit at the show and with the bargains to be had that saved me about £75 on what I was expecting to spend over the internet.

Overall a great day out.

Are there any other low points other than gate fee/food standards? Keep 'em coming folks. Tho the gate fee was high, the attendance figures were good too, so maybe the organisers may not care less!

I didn't like the huge gaps between exhibitors on the demo circuit, we had 50m of trees between us and the Bobcat stand, you can see this on the site layout Andy
