Husky 356xp

I am just wondering if anyone has bought themselves a Husky 356XP as a ground saw. I have one and a collegue has one which he hasn't used much and is less than 6 months old and it is running like a bag of nails. I use one as well much more than he does, I have had mine for over a year and use it nearly every day and it is running rough as well. It is always cutting out on me and it is hard to restart and it was suggested it might be over heating. I have changed the spark plug just last month.

My mates saw runs for 10 mins and then cuts out and then takes ages to restart as well. Sometimes you have to feather the throtle just to keep the saw running, this doesn't always help. Could it be fuel starvation? Does anyone have any suggestions and has anybody else had similar problems?

ive been running a 346xp (50cc new edition) since about march with zero issue.... great saw.

as mentioned previously check the winter flap on the saw dying every ten minutes, also try cracking the gas cap, could be a dodgy tank vent...

check the carbs are properly dialed in... and if they havent been looked at in the last six months, check the fuel line and change the fuel filter.
