Have now got a massive pile of woodchip.Sell some but starting to run out of space. Its not covered, ie not in a barn, so gets wet. I have seen previous threads about selling it but have not seen where to. I can load it onto a lorry no problem. any positive answers please. Essex area. Thanks

OK. they pay us £9 a ton for chip stored in a field. We are very carefull not to contaminate it! They will reject it and pay you nothing if they don't like it! Or if you think it is contaminated they can take it elsewere and filter it first but you get less.

 

We normally get about 24 tons in an arctic, but this last time it was only about 14 tons... I'm guessing it was because it was so dry. So we've sold ten tons of water per load in the past!

Thankyou all for your replys. It seems like stobbarts is the way forward. I have loked at stobarts site but the biomass does not seem to have a direct link to somebody to speak to. Does anyone have a direct line number?.Thank you all for the replys,
