ANOTHER Fungi on Yew

Im confused now, cos i thought G carnosum thus far appears to be found MAINLY on yew?

My mistake, I read Josh's question wrong.

My understanding (from frdbi) is that carnosum is mainly found on Yew (here in the uk)

It is a rare occurance, judging by the small number of records here.

Maybe not enough Churchyard Yew watching going on ?

Got a couple of churchyard yews with what I think is G. carnosum. One of which is fruiting at the moment. Would anyone agree with the ident?

Nice find Adam, likely to be carnosum but microscopy would be needed to confirm.

Spore size is fairly similar to G. lucidum and a couple of other similar species that may or may not have been confirmed from UK records.
