Stump Grinder

Tidy job! Gets a bit more use from the tractor. How often do you have to grease the shaft as it is a fair old angle?

PeteB yes the angle of PTO has always been an issue with all the PRO 150 , 170 and I feel with the 270XL as well, I did check with manufacturer as visually the angle is more than I would like to run on a continuous basis, there is a problem with getting the drive to all of the stump grinders and getting depth and slew of the cutting wheel, time will tell, cheers J

Hello Brushcutter, its rated to 270! so they say and I will be trying it behind the Fendt , It is impressive behind T190 with 200 ish HP even with 200 stumps done and blunt rounded off prominent teeth it performs well.

due to not wanting to damage wall, new path edging and trying to keep arisings from contaminating new mot etc. a bit longer than a strait forward job, I think we repositioned the tractor 3 times and moved boards to try to minimise damage to new bits , would have been 3 minutes otherwise , metal bars and stones encapsulated by coppiced stump not helping the situation
