Wow, you have quite a few there martyn, how do kettlebells fair against barbells and dumbells.

kettlebells are far better in my opinion ( depending what you are training for though )

there are thousands of different exercises out there and many newbies get confused with all the bs about strength and fitness. kettlebells are great for people who want to learn techniques in hopw to lift properly, it teaches you how to contract muscles, power breath and makes you more flexable are many of the exercises are dynamic.

not just for strength though- try they special ops 200 snatches in 10mins with 24k kettlebell and you will see how good they can make your cardio.

but like everything else in strength - Without proper knowledge of how to use barbells or kettlebells and how much reps exercises you should do etc, etc...you will just burn out.

heres what you could look like if you train smart and hard

Once set you have a traditional Okinawa training tool called a she-chi,

I'm breaking myself into this fitness malarkey gently, been a slob for too long, gentle bicycle rides, a brisk stroll and some of those pink girlie weights is all I need! Any more than that and I'll probably have a heart attack!
