It's a pet hate of mine too.

Was driving along the A64 a while back following one of those incident support lorries that puts the cones out at roadworks and saw a McDonalds bag get hoyed out the window. Surely it'll be their workmates that end up litter picking down the verges :sneaky2:

Its only going to get worse as local govt cutbacks lead to the closure of recycling centres. I cannot help but wonder at those who go to the effort to load their cars up with fridges ovens, old tvs etc then drive 20mies into the countryside to chuck them in a ditch, when the recycling centre is in the nearest town! Worked in many a wood where the locals have dumped their rubbish for years, they dont see anything wrong with it either!

Watch the one show back, its amazing but un-expected, to see how much rubbish actually accumulated!

Shocking stuff really, didn't think people could be that lazy:thumbdown:

Dirty.

Disrespectful.

Ignorant.

Lazy.

These peope are obviously too stupid to realise that the money being spent on their filth could be going to far better uses. Grrrr...

I won't say anything to litter droppers anymore though, after one particularly nasty incident that left me feeling quite intimidated and abused. I'll leave that to big blokes on Bandits from now on

I always pick up stuff if people drop it and very kindly offer it back to them with a disarming smile (well, I try anyway) with the words, excuse me you just dropped this. People are normally quite embarrased, pocket their rubbish and shuffle on.

I am a big bloke but why should I ride a chipper Janey? :confused1:
