well it rained like crazy on the friday and thus all climbing got cancelled.All the trees were smooth gums which some of the american climbers had never seen before and couldn't believe how slippy they were.Saturday morning arrived and the rain had stopped and the trees appeared to be drying out pretty quick. I get the feeling that some of the stations in the work climb had been made a bit easier due to the slippiness and rope had been girth hitched around the limbs to give some sort of grip for the climbers-if not it would of been ice skating, not climbing. Rescue was dummy tied onto lanyard and had dropped the hitch side of climbing line and also suffering from low blood sugar levels.again super slippy. Jim K practically equalled his world record footlock time in the rain. Speedclimb looked horrendous due to dry gum tree and wet slippy boots. Once i resize my pics ill chuck 'em up.....
