So you never ever get that type of person asking you for a quote?

Very rarely now tbh, I have my own filters in place to avoid these type of people and if I do let 1 through the net, I don't entertain fools so they usually realise that very quickly into the meeting.

when you come to terms with the fact you are the problem then it's easier to fix than the rest of the human race. :)

I've seen a good chunk of the human race and believe me they are the problem.:laugh1:

No seriously though that type of thing hardly ever happens so like other things I certainly don't worry or dwell on them, just a 10 second rant now and then.

Sometimes I do think i am really lucky with customers when I read of all the probs that a lot seem to have on a daily basis!

Oh, I also think that nearly everyone likes to think they don't entertain fools.

This happens in management too. I see it often when a manager or micro manager, rather than cause upset in the ranks, will defer a decision to a higher authority, skirt the subject or avoid it all together rather than just making a decision there and then at the risk of briefly upsetting an individual. People can get over a straight yes or no answer, what they don't like is getting the run around. If you can learn to say no in the first instance when required it will save a lot of issues and problems long term.
