Excuse my ignorance Fungus but is there not a Mycorrhizal additive you can get for soil now and would that help mixing with and decompacting the soil ?

Yes, there is and this is my opinion on the effects of using it.

I did take in a few bits of that Gerrit, very enlightening.

 

So Fungi can be territorial and start turf wars ? :001_smile:

 

I have also promised myself I will read up on "ecto" and "endo" later

 

 

ecto being external as in ecto skeletons and endo being within.

I want to read up on the bit where a symbiotic fungus can become a parasitic fungus dependent on levels of phospherous ? :001_smile:
