HI all what size tractor do you all use to run a processor im running a mf 165 its very good on the red 28 hrs on the clock for a full tank 7 gall with red 65/70 per lt:thumbdown: that what i want what tractors do you all run and why thanks all jon :thumbup:

we've got an old 6 cylinder fordson major... runs at 440 rpm just over tick over.. all the major pto's were high geared so i'm told.. uses 5 gallon in 10 hours..

 

HI nick the fordson are good tractors mate still not as good on the red as a mf 165 :thumbup: all the best jon :thumbup:

yeah but you dont get deafened with a fordson runnin at about 1500 rpm compared with a massey that'l be revin at 2100 rpm........

 

HI nick your right here mate but i do like the fordson and the old mf 165 good old tractors mine old 165 it goes on and on thanks mate jon :thumbup:

Our trusted old Leyland, no idea how much red she uses but it aint much. runs splitter and bench at the same time just over tick over. seems like weeks between fill ups!!
