You need an 8 tooth sprocket mate.

I've run a 36in bar for milling on an 044 - which copes. I wouldn't do it for pleasure, but if you only need to do very occasional cutting of that size it's certainly an option.

Is the chain length different mate? I'll give it a go:) it's the first one I've bought the only time I've used one before the lads all had 18inch bars fitted that's probably why I think it's not that fast

Chain should be OK.

 

I had 8 tooth on mine for years, got some new rims and the saw was awful, then I realized I'd been sold 7's, changed back to 8's happy days again!!!:Thimbu:

I'll have to give that a go cheers Huck:) my 660 does seem to jam up when cutting with the shavings though is that because it's cutting fast or am I taking the takers down too much do you think?

HI t c d ref 460 mate the vibes on the 660 is 4.1/5.9 but on the 460 its 4.2/6.1 not good for my white finger mate thanks jon
