You will require a separate feed from your consumer box to your workshop, then a 2nd consumer box in there if memory serves me. I no longer have current regs, but i'd give a sparky a ring if i were you. You could always prep the site for them to connect it all up to the mains feed if you get the right info

Not a sparky so take anything I say as quite possibly nonsense. Two ways I would do it. Either a bigger consumer unit with more breakers in, or add an extra one like many people have to do for a shower.

Personally I wouldn't double it up to another circuit as it could cause problems.

Think it may also be the case that you need another breaker in the shed/garage for regs compliance.

Part P regs mean that work needs to be inspected depending on when it was done....... The colour of your armoured cable is a big giveaway.

If you want to bodge it you could use the same breaker as, maybe the cooker?

Realistically you need a new distribution board or fuse box, consumer unit, whatever you want to call it.

But what you could do is add a secondary consumer unit (a small two gang one) run it off the cooker supply and then run the shed an dthe cooker from that off seperate breakers.

sparky will issue you with a cert as long as he is PART P registered

if your going to be using a welder in the workshop make sure you get the right consumer unit . had to change the one in my workshop as welder kept tripping it , there are 2 types a good sparks will put you in the right direction

Change the fuse board for a bigger one,it will come in handy if you want to add more things on later and wont cost much extra. Then if you have a fuse board in the shed, put your shed through a 32amp mcb making sure that its not on the rcd circuit.

Was a spark for 6 years hope that helps.
