Thanks for all the replies folks, building up my shopping list :)

when you start book shopping you keep adding books to the wish list faster than you can get them! still building my own collection.

there are so many great books to read:thumbup1:

Principles of hazard managment, diagnosis of ill health and the body language of trees from the SO (stationary office) or treesource are a good set to own too:thumbup:

Have a look through the past issues of the ISA Arboriculture & Urban Forestry Journal. All articles over 2 years old are free to view and worth a browse at least.

Articles for ISA Arboriculture Journal

I've found some of the older articles to be a good introduction to many arb subjects, such as:

http://joa.isa-arbor.com/request.asp?JournalID=1&ArticleID=1686&Type=2

http://joa.isa-arbor.com/request.asp?JournalID=1&ArticleID=178&Type=2
