that keto 51 is still in FJ this month, also there is an 8tonner with a patu stroke head on it in there

 

Have you spent all day reading the FJ. I've only just round to opening mine it arrived this morning though.

I havent spent all day reading it, I start at the classifieds section :thumbup: got to be quick incase there are any bargins :lol: anyway you not interested in the valmet 6800 and timber trailer with botex on it :001_tongue:

I start with woodwise then jobs, classified then news. I did see that yes i'd rather an 8000 series valtra. Don't have the momeny for the lot i'm just starting with the timber trailer.

an 8 tonne machine will be too small, you really want about a 13tonner minimum, ideally 16t machine is best

 

Same situation now; need a head that will run nicely on an 8t machine, occasionally a 13 (must fit both)...

Give phil Cooper a ring at Phil cooper forestry machinery, hutton cranswick, Driffield, he has lots of heads in stock new and used, also the new moipu, which are light ,, strong and very productive. Ive had 2 heads and 2 base machines from Phil and they offer a good service, with all budgets catered for, always worth call
