And it's allmost impossible to get a new one they had been out of production for a few years now.

Since they were released in 2001 they have never been "out of production". To this day they are still sold in Germany. Also due to Stihl USA building up enough credits with the EPA they have recently re-released it in the US also. Fair enough you haven't been able to buy a new one in the UK for a while though.

The whole of the 'fake industry' is scarry, many years ago AP lockheed investigated their brake pads being faked up and found people in the far east making the brake compound in a large bowl in a back kitchen, even the packageing was good. Now even surgical instruments are made up in back streets with fake UK brand names and sold to the NHS. It is going to be difficult to buy the 'real thing' soon for any product with confidence.

Checked the listing again this morning, and it's been removed:thumbup:

should post it on the good deed thread mate:001_smile:

Hmmm maybe. I also reported it to Stihl UK customer services. Got a nice email from them offering their thanks. Just waiting for the truck full of freebies as a token of their appreciation..... :sneaky2:
