I know theres quite a few threads onhere about the new 201t, but they're all a mix of speculation and the odd opinion, not much inthe way of hard facts.

My saws just broken again and ithink its time for it to take a back seat and a shiny new one to go into action every day. So I'd liek to hear from those of you who have the new 201t how are they working out and if you had your chance again would you till get the 201, or would you have just bought another 200?

Thanks.

I was very dissolusioned with mine tbh

But just done 2 big trees and did not have to change saw till I was needing a 20inch bar.

Certainly seems to have a fair bit more power and tbh I now would pick it up out of choice.

I banged it and the chain brake came out so sent it down and they just sent me a 200t back up.

As soon as I had a couple of mins to spare I asked for the 201 back.

Yep does have occasional chain seems too tight but barely used any oil so going to turn that up today and see if that helps.

This thread has some good feed back http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/30763-ms201t-chain-tension.html

Starts out with not great reviews, but then starts to sound promising :thumbup1:

Yeah, I've read that a few times now by the end it seems like its just the saw breaking in, I think i'll orde rone from jonsie tommorow..hopefully i'll get a few more post sinhere first though. the 201t is also cheaper than than the 200 only by about a pound though.

Got my 200 today when i got back form work, looks sweet, feels noticably more powerful. I'm gussing the two plastic blocks weither side of the chain cause the chain issue?

was it a 200 or 201:confused1:
