They're not in a crop. Looks like pineapple mayweed growing with them. Maybe the crop failed and they left the field. Just shows what's lying in the ground ready to germinate!

Saw a nice composition of poppies near a graveyard so planned to come back when the sun had moved around - but the farmer came out with his tractor:sneaky2:

I was inspecting in a park yesterday that had a wild flower meadow area full of multi coloured annual cornflowers. It was so pretty, but also hacking down, so I didn't stop to get some pics.

You should have taken pics of cornflowers as everything is a passing moment in time.
