working in oil tanker engine rooms sweating 2 gallons/day I used to use a large J- cloth worked fine, change it every day no rash probs.

 

ok tampax may work fine for sweat but you will lose 'man points' if spotted:thumbdown:

my 5 month old son is in washable nappies, i mention this because the inserts that soak up all the wetness just look like plain cloth but they are super absorbant and not that bulky, rather more inconspicuous then a bodyform liner would appear...

I use a very thin, elastic runners skull cap. They are about 5 quid and I use it all year round. Fits very neat under the helmet and doesn't interfere with earmuffs

I second the idea of the sanitary towels. Although make sure you keep your own stash:001_huh:, as I have been on the sharp after being the reason for running out of them at such crucial time in the month.' Always ultra super mega heavy as f@£$ flow' are the ones I buy .

I worked with someone who keeps a towel on the inside of his hat through summer, not sure it gets washed very often but he says it works. I like bandanas, they work well, cheap as chips so you can buy enough to have a clean one every day! Probably not as effective as an ST and I still look like a pratt but hopefully not like a T**T.

 

Anyway, what’s with all the girl talk lately? What with the female stand up urinary devises, whether females should be in the industry or not, and now ST talk… perhaps it’s time to re-name AT to girltalk?
