Yes, I remember something in the rules about all ropes being used must be suitable for tree work and a minimum diameter of xxxmm. Not sure what it is though.

Probably 3/8s inch? Or have they finally gone metric?

10 mm liros was being used 5 or 6 years ago in the footlock event in the Uk.

Hate to think what 30m plus of AP would set you back over here though!

got 70m and its more than worth it. at 70m it has no stretch! well none that you could notice. Couldnt recommend it enough for assess line but yeah hits the pocket hard. amazing to footlock with, just grabs easy and runs really smooth with ascenders. if you thoses few seconds matter, i guess it counts. if not, you hav alot of money to spend.

id agree with mog its super nice to footlock on it really does do the job well but the glode runs smoother with ascenders i think but its so stupidly static i find my elbows hurt on it so i gone back to liros 10mm its a dream especially when it breaks down a bit.

Phenomenal work go Jimmy, well done!! Super smooth and frighteningly fast technique– his foot locking that is of course! I've never seen someone look so slow but be so quick.

Haven’t tried AP but totally love Globe… despite the cost and CE mark or no, not politically correct but hey.

Is AP CEd to PPE standards?
