They are very good quality pic's, so large files, thats probably whats slowing things down.

I guess your right but its a bit strange that i never had that problem before and nothing has changed except the computer, the computer is better than my last one so thats whats getting me a bit confused with it all...

I always have my camera set on highest possible setting because i hate to have less than the best from whatever i use. Its only a 7.1 megapixel camera but it does take good shots. the thing was that even ones i had taken with my iPhone i had to make smaller as well. I am guessing its something i am doing wrong this end but i have no clue what it could be. Like i said before, I could just throw them straight on with my old pc without any problems, so unless Arbtalk has changed anything in the last month or so then it must be something i have not set up correctly.

I don't think there have been any image protocols changed recently, it may be that you have started to encroach on your individual member image allowance (can't remember what it is tbh) That may be having an affect on how much info you can upload.
