I rmember seeing a few chipboxes with custom made (or at leas they appeared to be) tarps and sheet for the roof of the chip box, i've searched around on ebay for these and can't seem to find any so if any of you withthem are reading this i'd like to know where to get one.:001_smile:

I'm In Kent, thanks for all the replies. i'm not 100% decide donthsis tyle yet, what do you guys think are the benefits over a flat roof? I just realised without a flat roof section i'm not going to have anywhere to put my ladder which could be abit annoying...

Billy just make sure you got some kind of vent system as our tarp covered chip box doesnt half blow dust back in your face . We tend to have the chipper a few feet back from the towbar when chipping as it helps reduce the dust . We chipped into a transit tipper with high sides and no roof the other week loads less dust :001_smile:

Its only a small chip box ? but when firing the chip into an unvented box the dust can only escape one way out . Not the chip only the small dust particles .

Maybe a half covered box would be better .
